Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) is thrilled to invite the community to the re-dedication of its newly renovated Fine Arts Building on the Athens Campus. The celebration will take place on Friday, February 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., marking a significant milestone in the college’s commitment to enhancing its educational facilities.
This re-dedication follows nearly $1 million in renovations, reinforcing TVCC’s dedication to providing top-tier learning environments for students and faculty. The renovation plans were first announced during a live broadcast on the TVCC Facebook page in July 2024, where Division Chair of Fine Arts and Kinesiology Dr. Kristin Huggins emphasized the project’s importance.
“With these renovations, we now have an updated, modern facility that matches our students' passion and dedication to the arts,” Huggins shared. “This investment sends a strong message that their pursuit of excellence in the performing arts is valued and supported.”
The renovations included extensive repairs, remodeling, and fresh updates, creating a dynamic space that fosters creativity and academic excellence.
As part of the Re-Dedication celebration, attendees will enjoy an academic presentation and live performances by TVCC students and staff, featuring songs such as: "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder, "Joyful, Joyful" arranged by Mervyn Warren, “This is Me" from The Greatest Showman, and more!
Join us on February 28 to tour the newly upgraded facility, enjoy outstanding performances, connect with faculty and students, and celebrate the ongoing legacy of the Fine Arts program at TVCC!
