Trinity Valley Community College’s Cosmetology class, on the Palestine Campus, had the opportunity to assist those in need this holiday season by donating blankets and food to the Hope Station in Palestine.
Students purchased blankets, handmade blankets and brought canned goods to donate.
“Instructor Paige Bunt and I are so proud [of our students],” Instructor Valerie Holmes shared. “They have such servants hearts, and, in our industry, it is important to teach our students to serve others.”
Hope Station, located in Palestine, offers comprehensive services to those in need, including job preparation and placement, transportation, childcare, financial education, drug and alcohol accountability, and transitional housing.
