TVCC Hosts Earth Day in The Valley

Earth Day in The Valley is coming!

Trinity Valley Community College’s Science Division is gearing up for an incredible Earth Day in The Valley and invites all TVCC students, staff, faculty, and the community to attend on Tuesday, April 22 at 10 am to 2 pm.

This free community event is a great opportunity to meet local organizations, learn about their roles in sustainability, and discover ways you can make a difference. Plus, the Creature Teacher will be onsite with live animals for attendees to meet, hold, and learn about!

“The event is a celebration of our shared commitment to protecting the planet and inspiring future generations,” said Dr. John Placyk, TVCC Science Division Chair. “We’re excited to bring the community together, showcase local efforts in natural resources and sustainability, and create a fun, hands-on learning experience for everyone. This event was a huge hit last year, and we’re excited to make it even bigger and better this year.”
