TVCC Academic Advisor recognized for her service
Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) recognized academic advisor and Army veteran Becca Garner in a pre-game ceremony on November 7 at the Cardinal Gym. Garner, who has served as the academic advisor for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs for 15 years, was presented with a basketball signed by the Cardinal and Lady Cardinal teams.
The presentation was made by TVCC president Dr. Jason Morrison, athletic director Eddie Kite, and head men’s basketball coach Greg Heiar. The event honored Garner's dedication to TVCC athletes and her service to the country. Local veterans were also recognized during the ceremony.
