TSI Testing

OPTION 1—Beginning Monday, April 27, 2020, we will start taking requests for remote proctoring through ZOOM. This will be a very, very limited number of appointments for this testing. Chromebooks are not conducive to this type of testing, so please plan to use either a PC or Mac. Check your equipment by following these steps:
OPTION 2—EXAMITY, the proctoring company used by ACCUPLACER, is also available now for testing. For a limited time, they have lowered their proctoring fee to $20. This may be a quicker option, if you are looking to test ASAP. Please visit our Remote Testing web page for complete details at "Remote TSI Testing Voucher"
PLEASE NOTE—Once we receive your request for remote proctoring using Examity or Zoom, you will be invoiced through your My Cardinal Connect account. When you have paid that invoice, please call and confirm, so that we can create your voucher. Instructions to testing with Examity will be listed on the voucher that is emailed to you. Voucher information using Zoom will be sent to you via email from TVCC. ***Both sections of the test takes approximately 4 1/2 hours
At Home Times— Examity Proctoring'> Examity Proctoring service available anytime, 7 days a week. ZOOM service is only available during 9:00 am-4:00 pm, Mon-Fri. Please note--You must complete the TVCC Pre-Assessment'> TVCC Pre-Assessment before testing with either option. |
The following information will be in effect once the Palestine campus is open.
Take the TVCC Pre-Assessment.
Check for Palestine testing dates.
Sign up in the Palestine Advising office, via email (natalie.russell@tvcc.edu) or by phone (903) 723-7045
INCLUDE: Name, contact number, test date.
On the day of the test, you will need:
- $35 cash/check/charge for both portions; $20 for only one portion
- Photo ID
- Know your social security number
- Sign up in the A building by 8am on scheduled test date
