Why Scholarships Matter
Imagine a talented young student who dreams of becoming a nurse, teacher, welder, or engineer. They have the drive, the ambition, and the dedication needed to succeed, but they face one major barrier: the financial strain of paying for college. At TVCC, we believe that no student should have to choose between their education and financial stability. But we need your help to make this possible. This year, we’re raising $50,000 for student scholarships, and with your contribution, you can directly impact a student’s journey and future.
The TVCC Foundation Scholarship has been an invaluable support throughout my nursing school journey, significantly alleviating my financial burden. Nursing school comes with numerous expenses, from tuition and textbooks to clinical supplies and certification fees, and the scholarship has allowed me to focus on my studies rather than these costs. This scholarship has provided the stability I need to complete my program successfully.
